Tsitsikamma Village Inn

Storms River, Garden Route

Welcome to

Tsitsikamma Village Inn

The Tsitsikamma Village Inn lies in the heart of the small quaint village of Storms River, mid-way between Port Elizabeth and George on the spectacular Garden Route.

The Inn traces its roots back to 1845, the first record of it providing a place of refuge for travelers. It officially became a hotel in 1946.

Today, this three-star hotel has 49 free-standing cottages, each individually decorated with their own gardens matching the colonial building style.

The main building has a spacious dining room, restaurant, historic pub, café and guest lounge. Guests can watch sport around the pub, relax at the swimming pool, keep up to date with free wi-fi, with a playground for children as well.

At Marilyn’s 60’s Diner, take a trip down memory lane with vintage motorcycles, cars, memorabilia and a typical diner menu.

The Tsitsikamma Village Inn is located just ten kilometers from the Storms River Mouth (Tsitsikamma National Park), a marine reserve offers visitors magnificent scenery, walks, and a small beach.

The Hotel is the ideal location from which to explore the many adventure activities offered in the area. It is a firm favourite among adventure travelers and nature lovers. The surrounding Tsitsikamma area is covered by large tracts of indigenous forest and deep river gorges creating spectacular waterfalls and deep kloofs. The ‘Big Tree’ is a must-see forest attraction –
a 1 000-year-old Yellowwood tree.

After a long, adventure-filled day, guests can relax at the Inn’s own microbrewery where they can sample a selection of really good home-made beers and cheeses.

The Hotel is renowned for its good food, old world charm and has been a favourite for many a year!
