A&E Marketing Southern Africa brings you combined portfolios of unique Accommodation and Experiences.

In 2016 Enslin van Schalkwyk, director of A&E Marketing Southern Africa, took over the company with a young and vibrant outlook.

Enslin van Schalkwyk has been in hospitality since 2010 and has managed successful guesthouses in Eastern Cape and Garden Route as well as Reservations Manager based in Cape Town relocating corporate clients at various apartments in the CBD. Enslin van Schalkwyk has also spent time as a Game Ranger at a 4-star lodge in the Garden Route to interact more with the tourists and his love for nature.

With the backing of Glenda Paterson, previous director of the “Cape Hotels” portfolio, this has indeed become a hospitality success story.

Glenda Paterson has vast (27 years’) experience of working with the giants of accommodation excellence, Holiday Inns and Sun International.

In 2000 Glenda put her training and experience to work and gathered together “ Cape Hotels “ portfolio; a wealth of exquisite, privately owned Cape Hotels and Guest Houses.

These establishments all pass the value-for-money test, with its stringent inherent criteria, and all are situated in localities which offer much in the way of ‘things to do’ and sight-seeing attractions. At all locations, you’ll enjoy fine restaurants, great wines, exciting adventure activities, magnificent scenery, friendly locals and loads of exciting things to see and do.

In 2016, Enslin broadened the variety of accommodations & experiences but maintaining the size of the portfolio by adding properties in the Northern Cape, Namibia as well as Zambia.

By adding these areas to the portfolio, Enslin’s vision was to give more of a variety to Tour Operators and Tourists to experience Southern Africa and all it has to offer from 3 and 4 star Resorts, Hotels, Guesthouses and Lodges to 5 Star luxury Travel experiences to blend them all in for a real variety of accommodation and experiences.

In 2019, Enslin broadened A&E Marketing Southern Africa by adding European River Cruise Packages, Super Yacht packages and creating a brand new Portfolio called A&E Gems Portfolio for a variety of accommodations & experiences.

The A&E Unique and Gems portfolios are truly stunning collections of privately owned Accommodation and Experiences in South Africa’s hotspots.
